Ahmed qualified as an Orthodontist after extensive training at the University of Glasgow where he worked as a clinical lecturer. In 2013, he was awarded PhD based on a clinical trial in assessing the effectiveness of different Orthodontic braces.
Devaki qualified as a Dentist at Bart’s and The London Dental Institute, and since then completed various hospital posts in oral & maxillofacial surgery, paediatric dentistry and community dental services.

Ahmed then moved to London where he spent 3 years treating and managing complex Orthodontic cases at the Royal London Hospital to qualify as a consultant in Orthodontics.
Ahmed currently works as senior lecturer and consultant at The Royal London Queen Mary University treating complex cases and leading the training of postgraduate students. He also has extensive interest in research related to effective orthodontic treatment. He has published several high-impact scientific articles and presented his work in international scientific meetings and conferences. In addition, he lectures overseas as an honorary professor.
Ahmed has special interests in applying evidence-based orthodontic treatment to both adults and children using fixed (metal and ceramic) braces and Invisalign. He has excellent clinical skills and extensive experience in treatment planning, with a patient-centred approach aiming for patient satisfaction as an ultimate goal. Ahmed is married with two children and enjoys living in Sevenoaks.
During this time, Devaki also completed a Master’s degree in Primary Dental Care with the University of Kent. She then went on to 3 years of Orthodontic Specialty Training at The Royal London Hospital and Ashford & St Peters Hospitals, obtaining her postgraduate Doctorate degree in Orthodontics whilst attaining her Membership in Orthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons.
Devaki enjoys treating children and adults alike, and is able to provide Invisalign and Lingual Orthodontic systems. She has also published in a number of journals including the Journal of Orthodontics and the British Dental Journal, and has presented nationally at the British Orthodontic Conference.
