The convenience and ease of Invisalign® clear aligners have made them a popular choice for millions of people all over the world who want a straighter smile.
Traditional fixed braces are made up of metal, plastic, or ceramic brackets which are attached to each of your teeth and joined by a wire. Whilst fixed braces are effective, many people prefer a more discreet alternative. Invisalign won’t compromise your appearance during treatment, as they’re almost invisible and can be removed for eating and cleaning your teeth.

We use 3D digital scanners to plan your personalised treatment and create your clear aligners. There is no tightening to be done and no changing of wires. Instead, all of the adjustments are made with one new aligner every one to two weeks. Approximately every four to six weeks, you will see your dentist or orthodontist for routine reviews, allowing them to monitor your progress carefully.
Invisalign® is a complete cosmetic orthodontic procedure. The first stage is to straighten your teeth with the set of clear aligners. Once this has been completed, you might choose to have your teeth whitened and reshaped to perfect your smile. After treatment has finished you will also be given a set of retainers (removable and/or fixed) to maintain your new smile.
Your dentist will start with an initial consultation – x-rays, photos, and impressions or scans of your teeth may be taken (at your consultation or another visit). You’ll then receive a tailored treatment plan explaining your options and costs.
We'll be sure to check in at regular review appointments throughout your treatment to keep track of the movement of your teeth. The duration of treatment will vary depending on the complexity of the case.
Your dentist will explain thoroughly how best to care for your smile and aligners throughout treatment. This includes how to maintain good dental health by brushing your teeth thoroughly and cleaning your aligners regularly.
The time needed for Invisalign to work varies depending on your individual needs and the complexity of your treatment plan. This means the cost of treatment will vary too, depending on how many aligners you will need. At your initial consultation, your orthodontist will advise you on how long your treatment plan will take.
