Single dental implants are a great option if you only need one tooth replacing. It won’t affect your neighbouring teeth: allowing you to eat, smile, and laugh with confidence.
If you have more than one missing tooth, you don’t necessarily need implants to replace them all. An implant can be placed either side of the gap, and a bridge fitted to fill the space.
Implant secured dentures or ‘clip in’ dentures are an effective solution if you don’t have many natural teeth left, but you do have enough jaw bone to support implants.

Dr Greg Cadman, is experienced in cosmetic dentistry, Quick Straight Teeth orthodontics and implant dentistry, having placed over 3000 implants since he began implant placement over 16 years ago. He is an implant dentist with a diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Furthering his training and knowledge in this subject, he subsequently completed a European master's degree in Implant Dentistry at the University of Rey Juan Carlos, Madrid. Greg has been a mentor for many dentists as they enter the field of dental implants and takes referrals from practices within the Teesside and Yorkshire region. He is experienced in complex bone grafting techniques and sinus lift procedures.
Greg also offer PRGF (plasma rich in growth factors) treatments, having also completed training at the BTI Biotechnology Institute in Vitoria, Álava, Spain.

Dr Gabriel Simon is an implant dentist that was awarded a distinction in the diploma of Dental Implantology, in Cambridge, and he’s a member of the Association of Dental Implantology. Gabriel has worked in West Yorkshire hospitals as a senior house officer in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He has also worked in practice for many years, providing dental implants and aesthetic oral rehabilitation - his areas of interest.
Gabriel undertook a master’s degree in Clinical Restorative Dentistry at Leeds University, where he worked for many years as a clinical teaching fellow in restorative dentistry, helping to train the next generation of dentists. During his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree, Gabriel was awarded a scholarship for his research work. He has also had his work published in journals.

Dental implants are made of titanium and once inserted, they replace your missing tooth root. After it’s fitted, the bone surrounding the implant will gradually integrate with it, holding the implant firmly in place. A crown or bridge (false teeth) that match the colour and shape of your existing teeth is then fitted to the top of the dental implant(s).

The process of having dental implants usually takes between three to nine months but this can vary depending on your individual needs and treatment plan.
Just like natural teeth, dental implants can be damaged by trauma and affected by gum disease and poor dental health. However, if you look after them, they can last for many years.
You’ll usually be given a local anaesthetic (and a sedative, if suitable for you) so you feel more comfortable during your treatment. Most of our patients recover quickly, but you might experience some discomfort and swelling for several days. But don’t worry, we will provide you with aftercare and if you’re worried about anything you can contact us for reassurance and advice.
We don’t recommend having dental implants in other countries. If you have any problems later on, resolving them could be more difficult as you would need to return to your original treatment location (often requiring multiple visits). Also, as there are different implant systems, some may not be compatible with the availability of implant components in other countries.
