Dental implants are made of titanium and are placed directly into your jawbone – replacing your missing tooth root. After it’s fitted the bone surrounding the implant will gradually integrate with it, holding the implant firmly in place. A crown or bridge (false teeth) that match the colour and shape of your existing teeth is then fitted to the top of the dental implant(s).

Simon has worked in private dental practice since 2007. In that time he has completed, numerous courses covering cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, digital dentistry and dental implants. It is implant dentistry where Simon’s true passion lies, leading him to complete the Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is a member of both the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and Association of Dental Implantology (ADI).
Outside of work Simon likes to spend time with his family (including his black Labrador), is a season ticket holder at his beloved Burnley FC and loves to talk about anything with an engine.
