Traditional braces have metal brackets that are attached to the front of your teeth and connected by metal wire. It’s the most common treatment.
These braces use tooth-coloured or clear ceramic brackets, so they’re less visible and more aesthetically pleasing. They work like metal braces and are suitable for most cases.
Similar to traditional braces, but they’re fitted to the back of your teeth so they can’t be seen. They’re still a type of fixed metal brace, made of brackets and wires.
In 2015, Nick enrolled in the postgraduate course of Special Care Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London (UCL) which he obtained with distinction. Having a great interest in Orthodontics, in 2016 he attended the International Short Term Course in Orthodontics at Aarhus University, Denmark and the following year he was offered one of the two highly competitive positions in the three-year specialty program. He completed his specialty training in 2020 at Aarhus University obtaining also a Master’s degree in Orthodontics.

Sanjay graduated as a dentist from Guys Hospital, London in 1992 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1996. He gained his postgraduate orthodontic qualifications at the University of Bristol & the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2002. Sanjay is registered on the General Council’s Specialist List for Orthodontics and has also worked as specialist in orthodontics at Derriford Hospital.
