Dental implants are made of titanium and are placed directly into your jawbone – replacing your missing tooth root. After it’s fitted the bone surrounding the implant will gradually integrate with it, holding the implant firmly in place. A crown or bridge (false teeth) that match the colour and shape of your existing teeth is then fitted to the top of the dental implant(s).

A single dental implant is a great option if you only need one tooth replacing. It won’t affect your neighbouring teeth: allowing you to eat, smile and laugh with confidence.
We use the Pro Arch system developed by the Straumann Group. Patients can have implants placed and fully functioning teeth attached in the space of one day, with the latest technological advances.

Jon was born and educated in Birmingham, graduating from the University of Birmingham in 1987 with honours and a distinction in clinical dentistry. His MSc in implant dentistry was completed at Warwick University, again with distinction, and he has been placing and restoring dental implants for over 30 years.
