Dental implants are made of titanium and are placed directly into your jawbone – replacing your missing tooth root. After it’s fitted the bone surrounding the implant will gradually integrate with it, holding the implant firmly in place. Mark graduated from Bristol Dental School in 2000 and after gaining experience in a number of different dental specialities has focussed on Prosthodontics which is the branch of dentistry concerned with the replacement of teeth.
In 2005 he was accepted onto the prosthodontic postgraduate programme at Manchester University. He completed his Master degree in 2007 and his Membership of Prosthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2011. This has enabled Mark to be entered onto the prestigious General Dental Council’s Prosthodontic specialist list and his clinical practice is now almost entirely dedicated to the placement and to the restoration of dental implants.

After his free consultation John was amazed to hear that we could easily help improve his smile and existing denture which was causing him constant issues as he had a poor gag reflex.
